Hi-Tech / Hi-Wreck

Back in May of 2012 we lost dear Uncle Billy at the tender age of 91.
I took some photos at the wake and funeral for the family.
Billy was a War Hero"Bill enlisted in the Army in December of 1942. He served in the 94th Infantry as a staff sergeant, landed in Normandy and fought in France and throughout Europe. Bill was a war hero who was injured while serving in the Battle of the Bulge and received the Purple Heart. He was honorably discharged in October of 1945."
After the funeral I grabbed the Sony card from the camera and toss it into my pocket before work that next Monday...something I had done hundreds of times. A quick upload from a USB 'card reader' and the images are stored somewhere, magically captured by Internet in FaceBook, Picasa, Twitter, ah in any case, it is usually the first "backup" of these RAW photos. Those pictures never made it to the Internet that day...
....to be continued on FaceBook and Google+
