Another scorcher this weekend around Madison, WI. Heat indices near 100 since Friday. The dog days have come early, and August just starts today. Not looking any better for the next several days as an excessive heat warning has been issues for these parts. Here's a recap of the weekends highlights.
- Went to the Mallard's game last night - so very HOT!

- Spent hours pulling weeds around the house yesterday morning HOT and sweaty - but that task is done for now...
- Too HOT for outdoor activities Saturday afternoon, so took in the final chapter of the Harry Potter series - "Deathly Hallows part 2"
- Managed to beat the HEAT on Saturday evening with some frozen cocktails on the patio with Mike Wood and his mom!
- Enjoyed the AC and took in some of our favorite television : Sunday Morning, Whale Wars, Breaking Bad and lots of cable movies including a cute 2005 film called "Neverwas" that never made it in full release straight to DVD 2007.
